Without the artist's "FE" stamp the work of Felicita Eustace would be recognized in this stunning squash blossom necklace and earrings ensemble. Using only the best of available materials, Felicita's work has been ranked on a par and often mistaken for another famous Zuni artist, Dan Simplicio or Ben Eustace with whom she often collaborated.
The raindrops in this necklace and earrings have Ben's stamp on them.
At no extra charge, we will be happy to convert to pierced finding either hand-made wire or posts at no extra charge.
The colors of this wonderful set are vibrant without being gaudy. Everything flows in the organic arrangement of leaf forms--both silver and turquoise, as the eye wanders happily through a garden of ripe strawberry red coral.
Felicita has accomplished what the best artists accomplish in personal adornment. That is to take the beauty of the Creator's gifts and work with them in a way that can be appreciated by people of many cultures. This is more than decoration. It is the sharing of thoughts and feelings, a form of personal expression by the artist in collaboration with the wearer!
The squash blossom has always been a symbol of fertility, abundance, new life and new beginnings.
Born in 1927, Felicita Eustace was known to have worked with her husband, Ben Eustace.
First active producing her own work, Felicita produced nugget and leaf jewelry, pottery, storytellers and figures. She stamped her jewelry with her initials "F.E.".
