Mica has been added to the dark inked bar at the bird's feet, in the gauffrage tradition found in Meiji prints.

About Yoshiharu Kimura

(Born 1934 in Tokyo). Kimura became a member of Banga-in in 1962 and a member of Kokugakei in 1978.  His one man show at the Yoseido Gallery in Japan took place in 1988.

Kimura is best know for his depiction of birds.
