About Sadie Adams

(1905-1995) Flower Woman signs with a 5 petal flower symbol, often with a dot in the blossom's center.

This Hopi artist was active creating pottery jars, bowls, lamps, tiles, cookie jars, plates, cup and saucers between 1930 and 1981.  Many examples of her pottery are held by the Museum of Northern Arizona. Her pottery won prizes at various competitive shows to include the Hopi Show and the Scottsdale National.

After her husband's premature death, Sadie supported her young children through the sale of her pottery.
