About The Quetrefoil Brooch

This same pin is illustrated and described on the website ChicagoSilver.com as follows:

"Brooch/ pin composed of four outward pointing, chased repousse leaves in a diamond pattern with small curving vines made of applied wires connecting the leaves inside the diamond.  Hand wrought sterling."

This timeless pin is handsome and bears some of the Scandinavian aesthetic that has universal appeal.

About Kalo Shop

(1900-1970) Chicago hand-wrought silver making company formed by Clara P. Barck, named after the Greek word for beauty, Kalo.

Highly successful, it was finally closed due a lack of available silversmithing talent.
