This light golden brown patina suits the ears of corn as well as the metate with its grinding stone. McFarland always provides a good bit of detail, without it overwhelming his modest sized sculptures.

"EB 51" inscribed on the bronze's self base denotes that this too is a work of art commissioned by Eddie Basha.
