Turquoise: 36 natural deep blue 1/8" (3.5 mm) AAA grade Lone Mountain turquoise with matrix removed, plus a little telltale Nevada dusky green here and there.

About The 36 Stone Row Bracelet

Dramatic, mid 20th century row bracelet of silver ingot with 36 deep blue round natural turquoise stones!

The serrated bezels are hand cut and set in diagonal grooves filed in the cuff face. The overall design is cutting edge for its time and the tools available, because it is entirely "made from scratch".

The deep blue high grade turquoise is most probably Lone Mountain with 99.9% of the matrix removed, plus a little Nevada dusky green turquoise. These stones are very hard and once polished will keep that polish for a very long time.

The soldering was done with a hand-held "can" or blow torch--hence the irregularities. Very difficult to control for jewelry, yet the deed was beautifully accomplished.

This is a large cuff and is only marginally sizeable, as the material is hammer hardened.
