About Eisenberg Jewelry

Jonas Eisenberg, emigrated to the United States in 1880 from Austria, founded his company in Chicago in 1914 making and selling high quality but ready to wear clothing. Jewelry was not introduced until 1930 to complement to their clothing line, and were typically sold as part of the garment, but were also sold individually in a blue velvet box marked Eisenberg & Sons Originals.

In 1958 they stopped selling clothing. During the years of 1939-1945 sterling silver jewelry was made in Mexico for Eisenberg.
