|About the Artist||
(1913-1997) Leo Coriz was one of the most widely respected elders and silversmiths at Santo Domingo Pueblo.
This master, without the use of electricity or wheels, produced highly sought after jewelry items. These rare tufa cast items inspired other silversmiths throughout Santo Domingo pueblo.
Coriz's daughter Mary Coriz Lovato and his grandson, Anthony Lovato continue his silversmithing tradition.
