David Barba was born in New York, New York in 1933. He studied at the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles, California. Working primarily in watercolor, Barba paints realistic detailed images of brilliantly colored flowers. He has exhibited his watercolors throughout California.
Barba's work has been included in the National Watercolor Annual Exhibition and the San Diego Watercolor Society Exhibition. David Barba’s paintings are found in collections including Cornell University, New York; the Carnegie Center, City Federal Savings and Loan Association, The Summit Group, and United Trust Company, all in New Jersey and at Parker and Parsley Petroleum, TX.
